Tuition fee in Hungary is very low as compared to other European Countries. Students with good Academic records can
get benefit from the state funded programme. But otherwise too the fee
structure of Hungarian Colleges and Universities are very low according to the
other countries, one who wants to study abroad and have less budget can surely
plan to go to Hungary for the higher studies and can get the benefits of the
good and quality education.
Varying of tuition fees depending upon
the institution, programme and level of study. It may also differ based on the
citizenship of the student whether the student is EU citizen or non-EU citizen.
If you talk about normal programmes
Bachelor programmes are generally less expensive and Medicine, Dentistry and
Pharmacy are the most expensive options with fees up to 8,500 EURO/SEMESTER.
Engineering programmes (such as Mechanical,
Electrical and Transportation) are also the most expensive programmes offered
in Hungary. Depending on the level of study tuition fees are between 2,250-
4,500 EURO/SEMESTER.
In case of Computer Science and Computer Science
Engineering the prices are similar, up to 3,300 EURO/SEMESTER.
Business Administration programmes usually have
lower tuition fees in Hungary with an average of 2,500 EURO/SEMESTER.
Regarding International Relations programmes the
prices are lower, typically between 1,500 EURO and 2,000 EURO/SEMESTER.
In addition to that students also have to pay an
application fee, exam fee and registration fee, which are typically between 100
and 150 Euro. In case of most institutions, the tuition fee must be paid in
advance.
